LAUREN LINSEY is a New York-based director and producer with roots in Texas and Oklahoma.

She is drawn to work that platforms the most secret corners of the human experience.

A majority of Lauren’s work explores grief, loss, and even what happens behind the doors of a women’s bathroom. By peeking beyond the curtain, her work draws out deeply honest performances and builds shared experiences that are not easily forgotten.

New work development is the name of the game.

She is a co-founder and producer of Co.llective Arts Productions, the only theatre company in Oklahoma solely focused on new work. She has worked to produce summer seasons of world premieres that highlights work for and by young artists in Oklahoma.

She fiercely advocates for a better future for our industry and the communities we serve.

She believes that in order for work to reach its full potential, it must be relevant, inclusive, and accessible. Whether it’s sliding scale tickets, talk backs, or community outreach, Lauren ensures that each project she works on has a larger impact beyond the walls of the theatre.

She received her B.F.A. in Drama and a general business minor from the University of Oklahoma.
